There are many ways in which you can get involved in your child's school! Join one of our committees and make a difference.
Photography Team: Tracking the happenings of the PTO, taking pictures for the Button Team, and taking pictures for the Father/Daughter Dance.
Fundraising: Collecting and redeeming Campbell’s labels or Box Tops for points or cash.
Hospitality Team: Meeting and greeting new and prospective families.
Transportation Team: Helping teachers by driving for field trips, field day, and other events where drivers are needed.
Office Help: Assisting with mailings to new families, daycares and preschools, and other office duties.
Building and Grounds Team: Landscaping and up keeping the grounds and outside the building.
Button Assembly Team: Providing teachers, students, and families with buttons showcasing Vanguard students participating in a variety of events such as sports, dances, Principal’s Reading Club, and others.
Hanging Artwork: Assisting the art teacher with simple tasks.
Sports Boosters: Enhancing all Vanguard Middle School sports.
Teacher Appreciation Team: Brainstorming, planning, and implementing teacher appreciation initiatives.
Family Nights: Planning the dates and copying reminder notices.
Skating Parties: Planning the dates and copying reminder notices.
Holiday Wish List Display: Cutting Christmas trees from large green paper, die cut Christmas ornaments, and distributing them to teachers.
