Kindergarten at Vanguard Charter Academy is a year of academic and social growth. In kindergarten, we offer a well-rounded curriculum of language arts, math, social studies, and science with a school-wide moral focus. Although our program is strongly phonetic, we also spend half of our days involved in various activities that include hands-on math, centers, circle time, math meeting, snack, recess, gym, library, art, music, and reading buddies.
At Vanguard, we offer a caring, supportive, and academically challenging environment. We work closely with parents to ensure a fulfilling kindergarten year that will prepare them for their future education. Our goal, like NHA, is to challenge each child to achieve.
